Peak the Reek 2026
Campaign by Fréa (RCN 1197939)
After conquering Croagh Patrick in 2025, members of the Women of Irish Heritage (WIH) Professional Network are returning to Ireland this September to take on a new challenge, climbing Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland.

Story

I have taken on the 'Peak the Reek' challenge with friends from the Women of Irish Heritage Professional Network in the North of England to raise vital funds for Fréa www.frea.org.uk, charity registration number 1197939. Fréa is a partnership of three Irish charities in the North of England, who provide lifesaving and life changing services for vulnerable Irish people of all ages across the North of England.

I will be travelling to Co. Down, Ireland to climb Slieve Donard, the highest mountain in Ulster on Thursday 17 September.

I would be hugely appreciative if you would kindly support my fundraising for Fréa. I want to use this opportunity to raise as many funds as possible for Fréa's invaluable work. All the proceeds from my fundraising page go directly to Fréa.

Míle buíochas (a million thanks),

Dorothy.
