Story
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. More than ever people need the help of the RNLI but too many people are still drowning.
This needs to change and thanks to your help, it can.
Kinghorn lifeboat station is crewed by volunteers, who provide a 24 hour search and rescue service. We rely on the support of our local communities to power our lifesaving service. Your support will help the running of lifeboat stations like Kinghorn and, ultimately, help to save lives.
I am taking part in a National event called SOS Radio Week, although it lasts for the whole of May 2025.

I will be operating my portable amateur radio station from a variety of locations in Fife (mostly coastal) and trying to raise funds for Kinghorn Lifeboat Station.
I have registered a special event callsign with Ofcom for the month, it is GB26RNLI and will be posting about the event on a dedicated page on my radio website.
Please donate to help a worthy cause, these volunteer crews are all hero's, giving their time to do a very high risk job to help keep out coastal waters safe.
Any amount is great, every little helps.
Thank you.
