Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

MAJOR UPDATE

I did run at Endure24 at Leeds on the 4th July, but due to illness I had to pull out after only 30 miles.

Therefore I have added a new challenge, as I still want to break that 100 mile barrier and raise as much money as possible 😀

I can't add the event to the page in place of Endure so I am sharing the details here and on social media updates.

On Saturday 26th September I will take part in the GB Ultra Cheshire Ring Race they describe it as follows:

"Take on the Cheshire Ring 100 Mile, forging together the Bridgewater Canal, Macclesfield Canal, Trent & Mersey Canal, with GB Ultras support at 11 Checkpoints en route."

So all the amazong people that have already given a donation, your money such appreciated and will stay on this page and I will keep this page open for anyone that wants to support this new endeavour!

So the goal remains the same, the fundraising target remains the same and where the money goes remains the same.

So read on for the full details and thank you for reading.

For a 2nd year in a row I will be taking on the Leeds Endure24 race in memory of my late grandfather Robert Foulds, to raise money for the amazing St.Mirren Charitable Foundation.

The goal this year is simple, cover the 102 mile course before the 30 hour cut off, in the hope, that you will give your hard earned cash to a worthwhile cause.

The reality of achieving this is a little less simple, as I set out to complete the equivalent of 4 marathons in a row.

I'd be extremely grateful for any donations, but love the thought of old school sponsorship, with an amount pledged for every mile I cover. This will give me that extra incentive to keep going!

So why not drop me a message on Facebook, WhatsApp or carier pigeon telling be how much you are prepared to give per mile once I've completed the race!

I'd really like to reach my target this year marking the year St.Mirren was founded and every penny will go to this years Festive Buddie program. I witnessed first hand on Christmas Day, what a difference it makes to those that need a wee bit of support. I guarantee you'll feel good when you donate and again at Christmas when you see the difference your generosity has made to someone's life.
