So I have decided that I need a bit of a challenge and as chairman of Montvélo CC, who as a collective are raising money for Maggie’s Cancer Support throughout the year, I figured I could combine this with some fundraising to contribute.

This is a great charity who provide superb support to patients and families who are going through the diagnosis, treatment and recovery from this terrible disease. I was involved with the construction of the Aberdeen Centre and well aware of the support they have provide.

My plan is to cycle a loop around the 8 Maggie’s Centres in Scotland which stretch from Inverness to the Central belt.

This will be a 500+mile loop starting and ending at the Maggie’s centre in Aberdeen and I will be attempting to complete the loop in under 48 hours early in August.

Any donation towards this would be appreciated and help the motivation levels when the legs start to nip a bit and if it could be arranged to be dry that would be a bonus.
