Walk from East Kilbride to Lochwinnoch · 20 July 2024

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

On Saturday 20th July, myself and brethren from Saint Conval 1359 will be undertaking a walk from one side of the province at Douglas Hall in East Kilbride to the other in Lochwinnoch, a distance of some 22+ miles.

We are looking to raise money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, a cause close to many of our hearts, including mine. The staff provide the best possible care for young patients, including my own son Alexander who having been diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, will shortly be undergoing heart surgery and be cared for across many different departments in the years to come.

We are very grateful and would love to give back in some small way. Any donations welcomed and if you fancy joining us on a part of or even all the walk, please let me know.
