Saint Conval 1359/Ayrshire Young Masons Charity Walk

Douglas Rathey is raising money for Headlines - Craniofacial Support

Walk from Prestwick 1060 to Mother Lodge of Scotland · 30 May 2026

Headlines Craniofacial Support UK provides practical support and information to people affected by craniosynostosis and other rare craniofacial conditions to help them overcome the physical, psychological and social impacts of living with these conditions.

Story

Following the success of our last two charity walks, the brethren of Saint Conval 1359 are delighted to be joining forces with Ayrshire Young Masons. On Saturday 30th May 2026, we will set out on a 20 mile walk from Prestwick 1060 to Mother Kilwinning 0, via Troon Navigation 86, Irvine St Andrew 149 and Stevenston Thistle & Rose 169.

This year, we are walking in support of Headlines, an incredible charity dedicated to helping children (and their parents) who are affected by craniosynostosis and other rare craniofacial conditions. This cause is especially close to my heart as my son, Alexander, will be undergoing surgery for metopic craniosynostosis on Thursday 12th March and the support offered by organisations like Headlines has been invaluable.

If anyone would like to donate/participate, we would be most grateful. Your support over the last few years means the world to myself and my family. Thank you for helping us make a difference for children like Alexander.
