Beatson Cancer Charity supports people affected by cancer, every step of the way. They make the journey easier by transforming the way cancer care is funded and delivered. They provide services, as well as funding specialists, research and education to invest in a better future for cancer patients and their families.

In 2015 our mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The family were devastated and it felt like the world stopped at that moment. Almost 10 years on and at times it still feels that way. It never really leaves us. I will never forget the day my brothers and I were told. We all have never really come to terms with it. Often finding it difficult in our own ways.

Our mum however , is stronger than ever , standing tall , pushing through life changes that we can never comprehend. Never complaining and remains the anchor of our circle. I am proud to be her son and to have every precious second given to us.

I plan to carry out a series of personal tasks. I want to show my appreciation for the hard work the Beatson does for everyone affected by Cancer. They have given us some fantastic years and made life manageable in many ways through the years. But only with the help of donations.
