Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the 2024 London Marathon to help raise funds for Martha Trust, a truly amazing local charity that operates near where I live in South East UK.

Martha Trust was set up in 1987 to care for people with profound physical and multiple learning disabilities and to offer help and support to their families. www.marthatrust.org.uk

Martha operates state of the art residential and respite care homes, providing the highest standards of round-the-clock nursing care and a safe, stimulating home for life for around 38 young people and adults. They offer support and advice for the whole family, making sure parents and siblings have the opportunity to be fully involved.

This is the first time I've ever run further than a half marathon, so it's a somewhat daunting mission. However it's really quite trivial compared with the challenges faced by the Martha team and the people they help every day.

Anything you can donate will help ensure that Martha's work continues. Every penny counts.

Thanks!
