Seville to Santander on a folding bike (Low impact lifestyles)

SPAIN Seville to Santander by Brompton folding bike, 1500km, 15 days. · 5 July 2025
I have adopted a lower impact lifestyle - this means I try to ration, rewild and resist. This is limiting my impact on the environment, changing how I do things and growing and planting plants and trees.
When I travel for work I have to opt for the lowest possible method of transport. In July I'm going to Malaga - half of the journey from the UK will be via a folding bike. I intend to source water to avoid plastic bottles, use sustainable transport (e-Trains, hostels etc).
This is part of an ongoing money raising commitment to cancer fighting charities following the loss of my close friend in 2024. I donate cycle parts and bikes, clothes and sell second hand objects and donate proceeds.

I'm choosing CFC for this activity. Approximately 2,400 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer each year in the UK. We help them regain physical and mental wellness by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes and specialist support during treatment and into recovery. We've awarded over 9,000 bikes and trikes so far...
