The Eastbourne Half Marathon returns in 2025 on Sunday the 23rd of February, and I am running to support local hospice care. This will be my first ever Half Marathon, and comes as a culmination of some hard work to get myself in shape over the last few years.

St Wilfrid's Hospice provides high-quality care for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points between) with life-limiting illnesses. My Dad, Charles Humphries, passed away in 2024, in a very short time after his diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer. St Wilfrid's Hospice provided a comfortable environment for my dad in his last days where we as family could spend at least a few more days with him outside of a clinical hospital room. We will be forever thankful to them .
