Andrew & Michael, 300km, 24 hours, London to Paris for Duchenne UK

Duchenne Dash 2025 · 16 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
On the 16th of May, we—Michael (Dad) and Drew—along with our fellow Duchenne-ers, are taking on an epic challenge: cycling 300km from London to Paris in just 24 hours!
To achieve this, Michael will be flying in from NZ and adding another ultra-event to his CV (the tally stands at four so far – all achieved since his 75th birthday!) while also turning 76.
Why are we doing this? Because we’re riding for Duchenne UK, an incredible charity dedicated to finding treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)—a devastating muscle-wasting disease that affects thousands of children, mostly boys.
This journey won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by those living with DMD. Your support will help fund groundbreaking research, accelerate drug development, and provide vital support to families affected by this condition.
Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference. Please sponsor us on JustGiving and help us pedal towards a future without Duchenne.
