Story
On Saturday 25th April, we will be climbing the National 3 Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon) for The Golf Trust.
Exactly a year on from the big guy passing and the toughest year mentally of our lives. Myself and David (chunk) want to do this in memory of the big guy and will scatter some of his ashes on each peak.
We will be raising funds for our friends at the golf trust who have an ethos very similar to ours at DR Inclusive Fitness and what better charity to raise funds for in memory of the big guy than a golf one (there aren’t any lager charities 🤣).
The golf trust-
The Golf Trust exists to ensure that disability is never a reason someone is excluded from society. Through specialist equipment, coaching, and support, The Golf Trust gives people the chance not just to play the game, but to belong, to grow in confidence, and to rediscover independence through sport.
We have seen first-hand how access to golf can transform lives. For some, it is the first time they are able to participate on equal terms. For others, it becomes a lifeline, offering community, purpose, and belief when it is needed most.
Every step we take up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon represents those opportunities. Every donation helps remove barriers. And every pound raised brings The Golf Trust closer to changing another life through golf.
This challenge will push us physically. But the impact of your support will last far longer than the climb.
Please donate if you can.
