We are excited to announce a charity event organized by the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue 2025 Wholetime Cohort!

This year, we are putting our skills and teamwork to the test with a thrilling relay race between our two syndicates — Syndicate 1 and Syndicate 2.

As we battle it out to get the most runs in within our two hour window we will be aiming to complete at least 83 runs, which is how many stations we have in Devon and Somerset!

What: Relay Race Up and Down the Drill Tower

When: 02/12/25 AM

The Challenge -

Participants will don full firefighting kit and carry a Cleveland rolled hose as we tackle the challenge of ascending and descending the drill tower. Each member of the relay team will complete their run before passing the hose to the next teammate, showcasing not only our physical endurance but also our commitment to teamwork and camaraderie.

Why We’re Doing This -

This event isn’t just about competition; it’s about giving back to our community. We are raising funds for The Firefighters Charity, which supports Firefighters and their families up and down the UK. Your generous donations will help us make a positive impact and support those in need.
