Daisy and the Duchesses of Hazzard
The Duchesses of Hazzard have dusted the pink tutus off and are back for the Elephant Charge 2026!
This will be our 12th charge - since 2009 we have raised $56 440 for conservation. Daisy, our trusty 1995 green Toyota Prado, is looking shinier than ever and rearing to go. Any donations are much appreciated and go a long way. The Duchesses of Hazzard promise to give it our all!
The Elephant Charge
The Elephant Charge is an annual 4×4 family friendly event held in the Zambian wilderness, where 35 teams of cars and motorbikes challenged by a demanding course of tough terrain over the shortest distance.
What is the aim? To raise money for conservation in Zambia!
Since 2008, the event has raised over $1.95 million. The funds have been distributed to effective conservation organisations working across the country.
In the last few years, Africa has seen an unprecedented amount of wildlife crime. The Elephant Charge, its participants, the beneficiaries and organisers are all part of the fight against the threat, now you can be part of it too.
