Story
In April 2021, I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer… and in November 2022 I was told that it had recurred. Not the news anyone wants to hear… but I feel incredibly lucky that thanks to early detection (both times) and incredible care, I am now cancer free and hope to stay that way!
On Saturday 10th May, Ed, Clare Ward, Karen Baring and I are taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk at Blenheim Palace with the Breast Cancer Now Development Board. The Development Board came together through different connections inspired to accelerate the vision of Breast Cancer Now - that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and be supported to live well. Too many of us have been personally affected by breast cancer, some more than once, and all of us have lost friends and family too early.
Please do join us for the walk if you can and bring along family, friends and/or colleagues. It is a special day to come out in support of an important cause and remember and honour those in your lives that have been affected by breast cancer.
Alternatively, any donations would be very gratefully received and make a real difference for people with breast cancer. Thank you! Laura, Ed, Clare & Karen xxx
