In memory of Alma

Dumball Rally

London Friend is the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ charity, providing mental health and wellbeing support since 1972. We offer help and advice to all LGBTQ+ people, providing one-to-one counselling, social support groups; plus, a specialist service Antidote that offers support around drugs and alcohol use.

Story

Between June 6th and 15th, we'll be driving from London to Mallorca, as part of the Dumball Rally, in a car that cost less than the bikes we pull up next to at the traffic lights. We'll be set some challenges along the way by the rally, but we'd love for you to set us some more!

A few ideas to get you started:

- Get us to paint something specific on the side of our car

- Make us listen to the same song on loop for 4 hours straight and send you a review at every hour mark

- Get us to record you a personalised cover version of a song with our highly professional music skills

But we're keen/scared to hear the kinds of sadistic and weird things you can come up with yourself. Drop us a message with your pitch! We can't promise to accept absolutely anything, but for a good cause... Well, we've all got a price.

We're raising money for London Friend in memory of our friend Alma. London Friend was where she received support during her HRT before she committed suicide on the day of the UK supreme court ruling on trans rights. We are raising money for a place that allows people to be themselves, in a world that's all too often telling them that they can't.
