As many of you will know, our family had to call on the services of the Air Ambulance NI in June. Gerry Dunbar suffered a cardiac arrest while out shopping and the prompt action of the bystanders, paramedics and the Air Ambulance have undoubtedly saved his life.

The Air Ambulance NI is a charity organisation funded by events like ours. They provide a truly lifesaving service, operating as a vital emergency response charity that brings critical care directly to those who need it most. With a highly skilled team of doctors and paramedics on board, the air ambulance can deliver hospital-level treatment at the scene of serious incidents, often making the difference between life and death.

It costs £8,200 per day to run this service. Unfortunately on average 2 individuals per day in Northern Ireland find themselves in need of their critical care.

We know that without their prompt pre-hospital critical care, we would not have Gerry with us today. He has made an amazing recovery and we now want to give back to the Air Ambulance in the best and only way we can, which is by donations.

We are having a fundraising night in Mayobridge Social Club on Saturday the 1st of November with entertainment, raffle and a CPR demonstration. We would love as many people to attend as possible. If you are unable to attend and still can contribute to this amazing charity, please do so below.
