Gornergrat Zermatt Ultramarathon · 6 July 2024

We are to provide clear information, and warm-hearted support, for those affected by ADHD and ADD. We want to reduce discrimination by increasing awareness and employer understanding. We advocate for political change to increase NHS resources and employment opportunities for those with ADHD and ADD.

Story

On 6 July, l will be undertaking my first ultramarathon (and marathon for that matter!) in Zermatt, Switzerland: running 45km, with an elevation of 2000m.

I will be running to raise money for ADHD UK, which is a cause very close to my heart.

ADHD UK was founded in 2020 with a mission to help those affected by ADHD – either those that have the condition or people close to them: family, friends, employers, and co-workers.

The aim of the charity is to help people navigate their life with ADHD, they want to reduce the stigma that some attach to those with ADHD, build awareness, and undertake or fund research that will have a meaningful positive impact on those with ADHD.
