One Team Charity Cycle: Humber to Teesside · 25 May 2024

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies and young children who have life-shortening and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, respite, and end of life care for babies from birth to five years old. We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.

Story

On Saturday 25th May 2024, 12 riders will be cycling ~130km from Humberside to Teesside - the two land locations of the East Coast Cluster carbon capture and storage projects. This event is a celebration of the NZT, NEP and H2T project teams' progress to date. And most importantly, it will be raising money for a Teesside based charity that's near and dear to our hearts:

"Zoё's Place is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies aged from birth to five years with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care is provided in a caring, safe, home-from-home environment in our hospice in Middlesbrough. We have no catchment area and provide this care completely free of charge for families throughout the UK.

Without the help and support from the general public it would not be possible to open our doors to our babies and their families.

Thank you for your support."

All donations will be submitted for matching on a pound for pound basis through bp's Employee Matching Fund - please give generously!
