Story
I'm cycling 100 miles this Saturday, regardless of the fact that I'm not a cyclist. 100 miles! I'm still not sure what a 'road bike' actually is, as it's certainly not a normal bike and I'm getting used to 2 sets of gears and clip in pedals. LOROS is a great cause though, thoroughly worthwhile and my friend Luke is guiding me through with the bike lend and lots and lots of support.
LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
