Story Time With My Cat is our new fundraising challenge, where you can help cats in our care get the love and support that they need, all by just taking a few minutes each day to read to your cat.

Story

As many of you know, my Bibby is not a normal cat. For those who don't know, Bibby is my beautiful little cat daughter. She was born to feral parents but she couldn't get the hang of feral life. 6 months as a kitten trying to fend for herself did not go well, so I stepped in and gave her a loving home. Anyway! Bibby is my world.

She has some medical complications as a result of her start in life and sadly she cannot have any siblings. That means I personally can't rescue more cats myself. Doesn't mean I can't help more cats though!

Bibby and I, from August 1st, are going to read together every day for 43 days and try to raise at least £107.50. This challenge spoke to us as we are already reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series together and would love to do some good by doing what we love.

The average amount of time that a cat spends in Cats Protection's care is 43 days. During this, they feed them, give them any medical care that they need and lots of love. We want to help as many cats receive this as possible

Cats Protection help more cats than any other organisation and we want to help millions more. We are a dedicated community of passionate employees, volunteers, supporters and partners, working together to make life better for millions of cats and the people who care for them.

We’re working towards a society where every cat is treated with kindness and respect.

Making a better life for cats, because life is better with cats.
