As Harding's golf coach, I have been dreaming of this project for about 10 years for my team. Obviously, safety and reliability have been the top consideration but also just simple access to transportation that meets our teams needs has been a challenge over the years - especially in the last few years. Without necessary space for our golf luggage (clubs, push carts, and duffle bags), players have had to share seats with equipment or ride with luggage in their lap for up to 6 hours. My goal is for my players to arrive at tournaments in the best possible physical and mental state to compete and win. Several universities that we compete against have secured this level of transportation and it is an enormous competitive advantage and recruiting tool. I have traveled nearly 180,000 miles in my 15-year career with the golf teams, and we often are a visible representation of Harding across the southern states. Our logo should be proudly visible for potential Harding students.
