On Monday 6th May 2024, we'll be playing in a Charity Match at Morecambe FC, to raise money for Springhill Hospice in memory of Denise Webb.

Just a little back story for you all. I met Jenny in November 2013 and within months, got to know her family, including Denise. Her family welcomed me in with open arms and we'd spend a lot of time at her mums house, going out with the family. Denise was one of the most loving, caring people i've ever met, no matter how hard it got, she always had a smile on her face and laughed.

On the 3rd of December 2015, we unfortunately lost Denise to cancer. She was an avid Football fan, of Rochdale AFC, my original hometown.

Towards the end of her amazing life, she was looked after by the wonderful staff at Springhill Hospice and this Charity Match is a way to give back, in memory of her.
