Story
As some of you may know that I suffered a stroke back in July, in fact, three strokes in one day. I was just turning 41 and had no warning signs beforehand.
During that time, I lost the usage of three parts of my brain but because of my age, and more importantly, the swift actions of the consultants and nurses on Ward 16 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, I was given a second chance. Ward 16 is a specialist stroke ward that helps people through something that can happen to anyone, at any age. Their dedication, skill, and compassion made all the difference for me and countless others.
This November, I’m growing a moustache as part of Movember to raise funds and awareness for the team that quite literally saved my life. If you can spare £1, or whatever you can afford, it will go directly toward supporting Ward 16 and helping others who face what I did.
Thank you so much for your support,
