WMWA is the lead charity in West Mercia working with victims/survivors of domestic violence and abuse. We provide services including Helpline, refuges, community support and group programmes for adults and children, support to high risk victims, survivor networks, training and consultancy.

Story

We’re proud to be hosting a Ladies Charity Netball Tournament in support of West Mercia Women’s Aid. This charity provides vital support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

Organised by Sarah Crane (Dyke Yaxley) and Zoe Lloyd (Aaron & Partners), the event takes place on:

📅 Wednesday 16th July

📍 The Shrewsbury School – Outdoor Courts

⏰ 6pm – 8pm

This is a ladies-only event (18+) for women from local businesses and their female contacts. Whether you're in it to win or just having fun, we would love for you to get involved!

What to Expect:

🏐 Friendly netball tournament

🍰 Bake sale – home bakes and treats

🦆 Chuck-a-Duck and other games to enjoy

💚 Community spirit, competition and a fantastic cause

Team entry is a £40 donation (minimum 7 players per team). All funds raised go directly to West Mercia Women’s Aid (Charity No. 1078496).
