Story
Hi Guys,
My name is Dylan Evans and some of you may know me and my story but for those who don’t I would like to shed some light as to why this cause is one close to my heart. Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After a tough 10 month battle I had the disease under control and was in remission. Fast forward 6 years to summer of 2024 and unfortunately the cancer had made a return. A sequel nobody asked for! I am back in remission now and have recently undergone more chemotherapy and an extremely intense stem cell transplant to hopefully cure me of this cancer for good. Throughout my entire journey with cancer macmillan have been there every step of the way. Their nurses are godsends not only for us patients but for our family’s as well. It is with that in mind I would like to raise £2000 by completing the English ROC triathlon on September 6th 2025 which consists of SWIM: 1.5km | BIKE: 46.5km | MOUNTAIN: 17.5km | BIKE: 45.5km | RUN: 1km. This is a gruelling triathlon at the best of times let alone are such an intense treatment. Where there is a will there is a way and I’m here to prove that anything is possible.
