My school, HABS is raising money for Third Hope. This is a charity based in Uganda which helps to rehabilitate ex-child soldiers.

To raise money, all pupils from the lower school (Y7-8) will try and swim as many lengths as they can in 15 minutes of a 25m pool. Our aim is to try and swim the distance of the Atlantic Ocean (5,894km). Any donations are extremely appreciated for this exceptional cause.

Third Hope has built a village-style residential home and sustainable farm to provide vocational skills in farming, classes in numeracy and literacy and ongoing trauma therapy to help these ex-child soldiers rebuild their lives and heal from the horrors of their past.
