In February 2024 I am heading out to Kenya to link up and volunteer with Cricket Without Boundaries.
Cricket Without Boundaries was founded in 2005and has become one of the world's leading Cricket Development Charities. CWB is using cricket as a platform for Health Education and Social change in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda & Nepal. CWB is run almost entirely by the dedication and enthusiasm of its volunteers.
The charity has three main goals:
1) Empower Communities by helping players & coaches develop Life Skills for community-led change
2) Coach children and train adults to help make participation equitable for all
3) Link the game to messages and action on health and social issues
