We're trying to raise money for the incredible children's dialysis unit at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre.

My son Dylan has battled bravely with an incurable kidney disease for 7 years now and recently went into end stage renal failure.

The doctors and nurses at QMC are out of this world. They go above and beyond to get to know everything about Dylan and to keep him as happy as possible despite him needing heamodialysis every other day. His main nurse has been a constant support to our family and has trained us to be able to do heamodialysis at home, which he needs every other day for 4.5 - 5 hours a time. It's been really hard on him as it restricts his life, but we're so grateful to his teams constant effort to make him as comfortable and happy as possible.

The money raised will be used by the dialysis unit to improve the services and resources they can offer children like Dylan.
