Formed in 2021 Drighlington Dynamos Running Club has not only become a hugely popular community based running club based in our village, but has also spawned many close new friendship groups. From these friendship groups us 7 “Dynamos” are pulling on our running shoes to take part in the first Leeds Marathon Relay.

Sue, Julie Ann, Caroline, Jo, Nicola, Kellie and Liz, will be carrying the baton to raise funds for Jacqui’s Million, a charity formed by Jacqui Drake to raise one million pounds for Leeds Cancer Centre, Bexley Wing, St. James Hospital, all through the power of positivity.

Jacqui herself is a patient at the Bexley Wing, and all us girls know, or have experienced how devastating this terrible disease can be, so we are taking up this challenge to help raise much needed funds towards Jacqui’s target. We are POSITIVE that we can pound our way through each leg of this marathon relay and hope you can support our efforts too.
