Join us for a Climbing Film Night of 'Adra' on Friday 7th Feb, 7:30 pm

Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an incredible event exploring nostalgia and adventure climbing’s rich history!

"Our new documentary ‘Adra’ explores the history, community, and culture of traditional climbing in North Wales, featuring interviews with some of the most celebrated climbers in the UK and the locals who call Llanberis home. But this is more than just a climbing film - for anyone who has ever experienced the magic of the Cymru hills, ‘Adra’ (home in Welsh) is a celebration of community, of a sense of belonging that draws people together in a way that only this special corner of the world can.

Through interviews and archives, this Coldhouse Collective film explores the impact of this picturesque corner of Cymru on climbers over the last century, celebrating the spirit of 'hiraeth' - a longing for home."

The film will be introduced by a member of the SDMC (South Devon Mountaineering Club) and a talk from Dartmoor Search and Rescue will follow the film. All ticket sales will be donated to Dartmoor Search and Rescue.
