Story
Elias, 5 years old, running a 2KM park run on 12th April!
Alive City Church is a registered charity on a mission to build a Community Space in Croydon. The Church currently serves approximately 100 children a week and has been a fun, safe and nurturing place for Elias!
The Alive City Centre will be a community and worship hub open to everyone, supporting families, empowering young people, and serving the wider community through practical programmes.
This is Project Five14, inspired by Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”
The Vision
The Alive City Centre will be a place of hope, wellbeing, and opportunity, bringing faith and community together under one roof. The centre will include:
- A state-of-the-art Theatre for the local community groups such as schools and Sunday School
- A cafe and co-working space
- A gym and wellness space
- A nursery supporting young families
- A Digital Academy equipping young people with future-ready skills
- A sports centre for youth development and community engagement
- Therapy and counselling rooms providing emotional and mental wellbeing support
- Spaces for worship, mentoring, workshops, and community gatherings
- A contact centre for children in care
This is more than a building. It’s a legacy for generations.
