I am taking part in Colostomy UK's annual Step Up for Stomas, Active April fundraiser!

As most of you are aware I had Stoma surgery last June due to a severe flare up of Ulcerative Colitis. This is something I have struggled with for over 14 years and the time finally came for me to say goodbye to my colon. This was such a hard decision to make and the recovery has been hard both emotionally and physically. Now I feel ready to show my support to the stoma community and raise vital funds and awareness for an incredible charity. I aim to walk 5500 steps per day throughout April. This number signifies that approximately 55 stoma surgery's are carried out each day. Please show your support by donating.
