Eagle Community Holidays Fundraising Golf Day

Katie Rowling is raising money for St John's School Foundation

Eagle Community Holiday Fundraising Golf Day · 10 July 2026

A major focus of all charitable efforts is the St John’s School Community Holiday, a week-long residential holiday for up to 25 children with a range of special needs aged between 10 and 18.

Story

Eagle Community Holidays are hosting a fundraising golf day on Friday 10th July 2026. The Eagle Community Holiday is a chance for children with a range of special needs to feel independent, confident and truly themselves.

Each summer, 25 children enjoy a week-long residential holiday supported by dedicated volunteers who provide one-to-one care and encouragement. Through games, day trips, shared stories and everyday moments, friendships grow and confidence blossoms. For many of our holidaymakers, this is the highlight of their year. Parents often tell us how much their children grow during the week – returning home with renewed confidence, independence and memories for a lifetime.

Many former pupils continue to return as volunteers, welcoming new faces each year and creating a warm, inclusive community where every child feels safe, supported and valued.

You can help make this magical week possible by coming to our Fundraising Golf Day. Taking place on Friday 10th July 2026 at The Drift Golf Club, Leatherhead, the day will include breakfast on arrival, an 18-hole round of golf, lunch, an auction and a raffle. We invite teams of four to sign up, with places open to anyone over the age of 18.

At £132 per person, every entry directly supports the Eagle Community Holiday, helping us meet rising costs and ensure every child can enjoy a week filled with confidence, friendship and unforgettable experiences.

Sign up using the link by 20th March to join us for a wonderful day of golf and help give children memories they will treasure forever.
