Story
Jonathan is taking on a big challenge. He’s cutting off his hair to raise money for Lagan Search and Rescue, Eakin Healthcare’s Charity of the Year.
After years of growing it out, Jonathan promised his nieces that he would bravely chop it all off for charity, and he’s keeping his word. It’s not just a haircut; it’s a promise, a gesture of kindness, and a chance to make a real difference.
💬 A Few Words from Jonathan
“I promised my nieces I was going to donate my hair, but then I got to like it and accidentally forgot. So it's time to deliver on the promise in aid of Lagan Search and Rescue. After learning to windsurf in the summer, to have the support of such a dedicated group of volunteers, you know you'll be looked after if things go wrong.”

💖 Why He’s Doing It
This all started when Jonathan’s niece challenged him to cut his hair and do something good with it. He agreed, and now he’s turning that promise into a fundraiser to support the dedicated volunteers of Lagan Search and Rescue.
🎯 The Goal
We’re aiming to raise £500 for Lagan Search and Rescue. Every pound helps keep this vital service running, from maintaining their boats and rescue gear to supporting the training of volunteer crews.
Whether you donate or share this page, your support means everything.
📅 The Big Chop
The big moment will take place on Saturday 29th November 2025. We’ll share before and after photos so everyone can see the transformation.
