Story

Students of Earls Colne Primary School are participating in the TCS Mini London Marathon 2024, a marathon event that brings together people from all walks of life to raise funds for causes close to their hearts.

On April 20, 2024, the children will lace up their running shoes and hit the streets of London with one goal in mind: to support the incredible work of the London Asbestos Support Awareness Group.

London Asbestos Support Awareness Group provides support to sufferers of mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a rare, incurable cancer caused by asbestos exposure.

We know the devastating impact of mesothelioma on loved ones and have seen the strength and resilience of those battling this disease, but also know that they cannot face it alone.

The target amount is £500, which will go directly towards providing vital resources and assistance to mesothelioma sufferers. Every pound raised will make a difference in someone's life, offering them hope, comfort, and access to essential services.

We are reaching out to you today with an ask - an ask for your support. Your contribution can help us surpass our fundraising goal and ensure that no one facing mesothelioma has to face it alone. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.

Join us in our mission to raise awareness, provide support, and ultimately find a cure for mesothelioma. Together, we can create a future where no one has to suffer from asbestos-related diseases.
