We are excited to announce our Earth Evening event, prize draws and second hand book sale, in aid of our WorldClimate charity partners Soil Association, Whale & Dolphin Conservation and Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. Donations through this page will support the work of Whale & Dolphin Conservation, a charity working tirelessly to save whales and dolphins and create healthy seas.

Earth Evening Event

If you’d like to attend our Earth Evening event on Tuesday 18 April, 2NSS Auditorium, London, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, the suggested donation is £8. Your £8 donation will also buy you two entries to the Whale & Dolphin Conservation Earth Day Prize Draw where you could win a trip to the Scottish Dolphin Centre. Please include your Deloitte email address in the comments and if you’ll be attending in person or by livestream.

You don’t have to attend our Earth Evening event to enter our prize draw. Simply make a suggested donation of £4 or more. For every £4 you donate, you will be given one entry into the draw to win a trip to the Scottish Dolphin Centre.

Second-hand Book Sale

Visit our pop-up second-hand book shop from Monday 17th to Thursday 20th April located by the communal sofa area on the 7th Floor, 2NSS to find your next read. This is a great chance to make a difference through shopping more sustainably – with all proceeds going to our charities. Use this page to pay the purchase price of your selected book.

We need your help to make this happen. If you have any books you have finished reading and want to donate to a good cause, or just want an excuse to do a spring clear out, we will have a donation box set up in the same area from Monday 10th to Friday 14th April. Terms and Conditions WDC x Deloitte Earth Day Raffle 2023

This Raffle is only open to residents of Great Britain and those residing in Northern Ireland over the age of 18 (this excludes Isle of Man, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses according to Gambling Act 2005 regulations).This Raffle is only open to members of Deloitte staff.No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit theirprize and the stake will be returned.

The cost of each entry is £4.Players may purchase more than one entry, and payment must be in advance.All proceeds from this raffle will be used for the charitable purposes of WDC and can be used at WDC’s discretion to fund activities it feels most appropriate.

The prize for the Raffle is a single top prize of a trip to WDC’s Scottish Dolphin Centre (SDC) and includes 1 x night of accommodation for up to 2 people, a tour of WDC’s Scottish Dolphin Centre from a member of the WDC team, complimentary hot drinks and cakes in the SDC café (up to the value of £20), a dolphin watching boat trip for 2 people and a contribution of £150 towards travel costs.

The prize is non-transferrable and no alternative prizes, or monetary equivalent, are available.The trip must be taken by August 31st2024 and dates for the trip will be arranged in advance with WDC’s Partnerships team.It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the persons travelling meet the guidelines of the boat operator in terms of health and safety, for example declaring any relevant medical conditions required as part of their terms of operation.

Winners are permitted to bring extra guests or to extend their stay at the hotel however this is agreed on the basis that they cover any and all additional costs, including but not limited to, the boat trip, extra accommodation costs and any fees to alter bookings.

The £150 contribution towards travel costs will be paid after the completion of the trip and will be paid by cheque or bank transfer, to the winner’s nominated bank account, on presentation of a valid train or plane ticket, or written confirmation of car travel.We ensure that each entrant has an equal chance of winning the prize. The draw will be conducted by utilising a Random Number Generator that has been tested and approved by an independent, Gambling Commission approved, third party test house in combination with a blind draw in plain sight of staff. The results of the draw are final.

Entries must be received by 18th April 2023. Tickets purchased after this date will not be entered into the draw, noting that no refunds will be given.The draw will be held on 24thApril 2023.Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. Please keep your ticket number as proof of purchase.The name of the winner will also be shared with relevant staff at Deloitte, including their responsible business team.Winners may be asked to take part in WDC PR and promotional activity, however this is not a formal requirement of entry.The winner has 2 weeks after notification to claim the prize. If the prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by WDC to contact the winner, then WDC will draw another winner.
