Message from Mrs McClymont, Design and Technology Subject Lead: "This year, using money that you have helped the PTA to raise, we have been excited to purchase and resource a brand-new Design and Technology curriculum called Kapow. This has meant that we have been able to really uplevel the DT offer at our school. As well as a progressive and challenging new curriculum, we have given our resources a total overhaul and purchased tools such as cookery equipment, 70 pairs of fabric scissors and self-threading needles along with food items for every year group.

We started our new plans in the Spring Term and by the end of this academic year each year group will have sewed and cooked to build on our cultural capital. We are so grateful that your monetary and fabric donations have been a large part of making these lessons a success, so thank you from myself and the children and staff at East Borough.

Next year, we will be adding even more Design and Technology to our enriched curriculum so watch this space for further updates and please do continue to support the PTA and their fundraising endeavours".
