Story
On Sunday 11 October 2026, Barry, Chris, George, Sam and Sebastian of the East West Connect team will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise funds for Construction Youth Trust.
Construction Youth Trust is a charity dedicated to helping young people access meaningful career opportunities within construction and the built environment. Through mentoring, employability programmes, work experience, careers guidance and practical skills development, the Trust supports thousands of young people each year to build confidence, develop workplace skills and take positive steps towards employment.
The work of Construction Youth Trust is particularly important at a time when many young people face significant barriers to employment, training and career progression. With youth unemployment and economic inactivity remaining a major challenge across many communities, access to high-quality guidance, industry experience and positive role models has never been more important. The Trust helps bridge this gap by connecting young people with employers and opportunities that can genuinely change lives.
At East West Connect, we believe in creating opportunities for future generations and supporting the communities in which we work. By taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, we hope to raise vital funds that will help Construction Youth Trust continue its important work, supporting young people to realise their potential and build brighter futures.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting both our team and the incredible work of Construction Youth Trust.
