Story
Eastend Matters recently faced two deeply challenging incidents that shook our organisation and the community we proudly serve. These events reminded us just how vital strong community support and accessible mental health services truly are.
Instead of standing still, we are choosing to take action.
We are raising funds for SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health), a charity dedicated to providing life-changing mental health support across Scotland. Every single day, SAMH works to ensure that individuals and families facing mental health challenges are not alone — offering support, raising awareness, and fighting stigma.
To show our commitment, we are organising a sponsored charity walk across Glasgow. Our journey will begin at Firhill Stadium, continue to Ibrox Stadium, then onto Hampden Park, and finish at Celtic Park. This walk symbolises unity across communities and demonstrates that, no matter our differences, we can come together to stand for something bigger than ourselves — mental health support for those who need it most.
We cannot do this without you.
Your donation — whatever the amount — will directly support SAMH’s vital services. At a time when more people than ever are struggling, your support could help someone access the help they desperately need.
Please stand with us. Donate if you can. Share our page. Help us turn adversity into hope, strength, and real change.
Together, we can make a lasting difference.
