Story
Since the dawn of time, humanity has pondered one eternal question:
“Will anyone ever climb the three highest hills in East Lancashire in one go?”
Well, that day is almost upon us.
On the 30th of May, Jack Walsh and Sam Barton will take on a 30-mile (over 48 km) hike, climbing East Lancashire’s three highest hills, all in one continuous hike:
Starting at 05:30 am, we'll first walk through to Accrington to climb Hameldon Hill (409 metres), then continue our walk over to Trawden to climb Boulsworth Hill (517 metres), then finally, on our last leg, walk over to Pendle to climb Pendle Hill (557 metres)
They’re doing it not just for the challenge, but for a cause that hits close to home. Sam's mum is currently battling cancer, and this walk is for her and for everyone affected by this awful disease. All funds raised will go to Cancer Research UK, because cancer has taken too much from too many people, and it’s time we fought back.
Every donation helps. Every share matters. Let’s beat cancer together.
