Legend On A Bench, is a suicide prevention initiative that sets out to promote awareness, support and to remind people that no one is truly alone.
With the support of the Parish Council we are calling on the community of East Bergholt, from people to organisations to please take a moment to consider this project.
With the goal of £2,300 we will be able to install a new bench, however this bench is a beacon, with a QR code to advice & outreach services, supportive messaging and a low level light which will always shine. A place to breathe, think and reflect either alone or not. This project is about coming together as a community to show that we care, that we are present, and that support is never far away. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment, a place, or a small gesture to make a difference and potentially save a life.
If you are able to contribute, support, or help share this message, it would mean a great deal. Together, we can create something simple, lasting, and truly meaningful for East Bergholt.
