Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are delighted to share a wonderful testimony of God's faithfulness.

After more than twenty-five years of ministry, worshipping in rented churches and temporary venues, Emmanuel Christian Fellowship – Ilford successfully purchased its first permanent church building in April 2026.

This significant milestone was made possible through God's grace, the prayers of many believers, and the sacrificial generosity of supporters and our church members who stood with us during the purchase process. We thank God and every individual, church, and organisation that helped make this vision a reality.

Our new church home at Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex, will provide a permanent base for worship, discipleship, community outreach, children's ministry, youth work, and mission activities.

Today, we are pleased to report that refurbishment and restoration works are well underway. Much progress has already been made, and we are excited to see the building being transformed into a welcoming and effective centre for ministry.

However, the journey is not yet complete.

To make the building fully suitable for worship, community service, and future ministry, a number of essential refurbishment projects still need to be completed. These works will ensure that the building is safe, accessible, welcoming, and properly equipped to serve both our congregation and the wider community for many years to come.

We are therefore seeking to raise the final £20,000 needed to complete the refurbishment and development of our newly acquired church premises.

Every contribution will help us transform this building into a vibrant centre of worship, prayer, discipleship, community care, and Gospel outreach.

– Internal renovation and re-decoration

– Electrical and lighting upgrades

– Heating improvements

– Children's and youth ministry facilities

– Kitchen and hospitality improvements

– Accessibility enhancements

– Audio-visual equipment for worship and teaching
