Story
We're excited to be raising money for the Wilderness Foundation as part of our final fundraising event for this fantastic charity.
On 4 September the ECI team will split into two groups, each walking 25km along the Essex Way in a race to the middle - the Wilderness Foundation’s centre at Chatham Green.
The race is for pride but the purpose is to support the Wilderness Foundation's work, transforming the lives of vulnerable children, teens and adults through time spent in nature.
Each year, the Wilderness Foundation works with over 8,000 people, including some of the hardest-to-reach and most disadvantaged young people and adults. All of the foundation's projects and programmes provide direct support, connecting people to nature, helping improve mental and physical wellbeing and teaching people to care for the natural world, using nature as a therapeutic tool.
This is our final fundraising challenge as part of our charity partnership with the Wilderness Foundation and we would be very grateful for your support!
