On the 3rd of May I will be running in the Newcastle-Gateshead marathon, and the wonderful charity I am raising money for is called Pangea. Over 600 elephants are currently living in captivity in Europe - in both circuses and zoos - but they have nowhere else to be rehomed. Pangea is aiming to solve this by creating Europe's first elephant sanctuary in Portugal!
