Ambulances to Ukraine · 11 July 2025

British-Ukrainian Aid supports people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of medical aid to such persons and organisations caring for them.

Story

Charlie, Tom, Shane and Ed are driving two ambulances 1,229 miles from London to Ukraine this July. Each is packed with crucial medical supplies - compression bandages, tourniquets, crutches, and defibrillators - and destined for the frontline. We're part of a convoy for the Medical Life Lines Ukraine charity, and we really need your help. Here's why.

At least 390 ambulances have been shelled or destroyed and another 80 seized in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began, along with over 2,300 hospitals and other medical facilities. Russian troops are destroying them as fast as they arrive. Yet the need remains enormous. On average, 370 Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are wounded every day in this awful and deadly war. That's 437,000 in total, and sadly it feels unlikely there will be any peace deal soon. With or without peace, the need for essential medical equipment in Ukraine will continue for some time to come.

We have to raise £30,000 to buy the ambulances and medical supplies, so please could we ask for your help and donate? We're covering all the costs of our hotels and flights back to the UK ourselves, so 100% of your donation will go towards the aid. Your donation will go directly to the registered charity British-Ukrainian Aid, which will channel all amounts raised towards this convoy arranged by Medical Life Lines Ukraine.

Thank you so much for anything you're able to give, we're hugely grateful. Slava Ukraini!
