P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery exists to make life easier after brain injury by providing guidance and support to empower all affected by ABI. We would like to say thank you for fundraising for us. You will be helping us to provide a positive future for someone affected by brain injury.

Story

In November of last year, my brother Will was involved in an accident with a car, leaving him with a life changing brain injury.

Since November, Will has progressed from the intensive care unit, to ward 40 at Hull Royal, and on to the complex rehabilitation unit at Castle Hill Hospital, where he continues to amaze us everyday with his progression. It was at Castle Hill where we were put in contact with the P.A.U.L for brain recovery charity, who will support Will throughout his recovery

P.A.U.L for brain recovery provides support, guidance and education to individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury (ABI) in Hull and the surrounding areas. They also campaign to raise awareness, improve services, and promote understanding of brain injury.

I’ve therefore decided to try and give a bit back by running the Great Manchester Run on the 26th of May. Hoping to raise as much money as possible for a charity that is currently supporting Will, and will go on to support many more in situations similar to his.
