Story
On 6th September 2026, I will be taking on The Big Half Marathon in support of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
There are few organisations that embody hope, compassion and humanity quite like Noah's Ark. Every day, they provide exceptional care and unwavering support to babies, children and young people living with life-threatening or life-shortening conditions, while standing beside their families through what are often the most difficult times imaginable.
Their care extends far beyond medicine. Noah's Ark creates a place where children can laugh, play, explore and simply enjoy being children, rather than being defined by their illness. They also provide invaluable support to parents, siblings and loved ones, creating a safe, welcoming environment where families can spend precious time together, make lasting memories and find comfort when they need it most.
The compassion, professionalism and dedication shown by every nurse, therapist, volunteer and member of staff is nothing short of extraordinary. They enable families to focus on what truly matters cherishing every moment together while knowing they are surrounded by expert care and genuine kindness.
This is why I have chosen to run The Big Half Marathon in support of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. It is a small personal challenge compared to the challenges these children and their families face every single day, but if my efforts can help raise awareness and vital funds to support the incredible work of the hospice, then every mile will be worthwhile.
Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help Noah's Ark continue providing specialist care, emotional support and unforgettable experiences for children and their families. Together, we can help ensure that every child has the opportunity to simply be a child, and that no family has to face their journey alone.
Thank you so much for your support it truly means a lot to me and to the families whose lives are touched by the incredible team at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
