Hey, we are Suzie and Ed, and we have decided the best way to cross the majority of a continent is in the least suitable vehicle possible; a 30 year old London taxi. Yes, the same kind that complains about speed bumps and thinks the M25 is an adventure. We have entered the Africa Rally armed with a questionable sense of direction, an even more questionable cab, and a deep belief that suspension is overrated. Expect dust, dodgy detours, and dramatic monologues from the back seat—because if you’re going to break down in the Serengeti, you might as well do it with style and a “Taxi for Africa” sign. Follow along for chaos, comedy, and the slowest rally progress in history.

It is unknown how many young people experience homelessness each year in the UK, but nearly 136,000 young people approached their local council for help as a result of homelessness in 2022/23. There are likely thousands more hidden homeless, choosing to sofa-surf, sleep on public transport or present to charities, rather than presenting to their local authorities.
