Story
On April 12th, I'll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon — 13.1 miles through some of the most iconic streets in the world. I'm raising money for NACOA, the National Association for Children of Alcoholics, and I'd love your support.
NACOA exists for the millions of children — and adults who were once those children — who grew up in a home affected by a parent's drinking. They run a free, confidential helpline and provide resources that can genuinely change lives, often for people who feel they have nowhere else to turn.
This cause is close to my heart. Alcoholism has touched several generations of my family, and I've seen first-hand the quiet, often hidden impact it has on the people who love someone struggling with it. NACOA shines a light on that, and makes sure those children know they're not alone and not to blame.
Every pound raised goes towards keeping that helpline open, and towards support that can make a real difference to a child who really needs it.
If you can spare anything at all, I'd be so grateful. And if you're able to share this page, that means just as much.
Thank you. 🧡
